Become a Reviewer for the 2027 CIBSE Technical Symposium
To ensure a high-quality and rigorous review process, all reviewers are asked to commit to two review rounds and review a minimum of three submissions. These may include research papers, case studies, poster presentations, or opinion papers.
All submissions will be managed through ConfTool, our online conference management system. Reviewer allocations will be made by 6 October 2026, at which point reviewers will receive access to their assigned papers and review guidelines.
Following the initial review phase, authors will have the opportunity to revise their submissions in response to reviewer feedback. Where necessary, amended papers will be returned to the original reviewers for a final assessment during the re-review period from 15 December 2026 to 15 January 2027.

Key Reviewer Commitments
- Complete two rounds of review as required.
- Review a minimum of three submissions.
- Review submissions via ConfTool.
- Initial paper allocations issued by 6 October 2026.
- Re-review revised submissions between 15 December 2026 and 15 January 2027, where applicable.
- Provide constructive, objective, and timely feedback to support authors and the conference review process.
