Call for Volunteers: CIBSE HCSW Speed Networking Event at UCL

Volunteer at our UCL speed networking event. Share career insight with students in quick 1:1 chats. All industry profiles welcome.

CIBSE Home Counties South West is hosting a speed networking event at UCL on 19 November 2026 from 4:30 pm, giving students first hand insights into building a career in building services engineering. The format: 3 to 5 minute 1:1 conversations with students, run across two 45 minute sessions.

We're looking for volunteers from across the industry, whatever your specialism or career stage. No preparation needed. Just bring your energy, your story, and your enthusiasm for the profession.

There will be a briefing session for all volunteers, and we'll ask for a short bio (around 100 words) and a headshot to use in marketing materials.

We want a real spread of profiles across the Building Services industry, so please share this with colleagues and your wider network too.
