CIBSE NW: Designing Drainage without compromise (Part 1)

Join CIBSE North West for a lunchtime CPD session with Geberit, exploring the key principles and considerations of drainage design in buildings.

Presented by Adam James, Specification Sales Manager for Geberit Piping, the session will provide an introduction to BS 12056, its application and limitations, together with some of the critical considerations that influence effective drainage design.

The session will also introduce the acoustic impact of drainage systems and provide attendees with a basic awareness of how acoustics should be considered during design.

About the speaker

Adam James is Specification Sales Manager for Geberit Piping. He has over 25 years’ experience in construction sales, including more than 15 years within the M&E sector.

Adam has spent the last six years working with Geberit, supporting pipework and drainage design and installation across commercial and residential projects, including both new-build and refurbishment schemes.

His experience covers Geberit’s range of solutions for managing water throughout buildings, from services entering the building through to water use and drainage.
