Join this webinar to learn about the BEST (Built Environment Specialist Trainer) Training Programme, delivered by Class Of Your Own in collaboration with the Health Delivery Partnership (HDP), Programme Delivery Partner for the New Hospital Programme. Presented by Vicki Irving - Head of Teacher Training at Class of your own and Joe Hobbins - Associate Director Social Value from MACE.
The BEST programme is designed to support experienced Built Environment professionals who are interested in training to teach in Further Education (FE) and sharing their industry expertise with the next generation of professionals.
This 18-week part-time programme provides a comprehensive training experience and leads to a recognised Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (CET).
The programme is fully aligned with the updated Ofsted framework, equipping participants with strong pedagogical skills, practical teaching strategies, and the confidence to deliver high-quality education in FE settings.
Through the collaboration with HDP, the programme will connect learning to real healthcare infrastructure projects, including pilot initiatives in the North West linked to Leighton Hospital, North Manchester Hospital and Airedale Hospital. These projects provide valuable real-world context for students studying the Built Environment and help strengthen the future workforce pipeline for the sector.
This webinar will introduce the programme, explain how it works, and explore how experienced professionals can extend their impact by helping educate and inspire the next generation.
