Book NowJoin us at CIBSE Headquarters for an evening discussion on the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard (UK NZCBS) verification process and what it means for the built environment sector.
As the industry moves towards a consistent, robust definition of net zero carbon buildings, verification is set to play a critical role in demonstrating performance, credibility and market confidence. This session will explore the practicalities of verification under the UK NZCBS, key considerations for project teams, and the opportunities it presents for developers, consultants, asset owners and occupiers.
Katie Clemence-Jackson, CEO of the UK NZCBS, will be joined by representatives from Bureau Veritas, a verification partner for the Standard, and Paul Chatwin of Cundall Sustainability. Together, the panel will share insights into the verification journey, lessons from early engagement, and how the Standard is expected to support consistency and transparency across the industry.
The discussion will be particularly relevant for sustainability consultants, building services engineers, developers, asset managers and wider project teams involved in delivering high-performance, low-carbon buildings.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and network with peers following the session.
