The latest CWCT update including a review of the 2026 AGM, plus new Technical Notes and sustainability guidance.
2026 CWCT AGM
A full house was treated to another fantastic AGM and Members’ Meeting recently. There were excellent presentations and lively discussions around key industry topics; sustainability, fire performance and innovation/AI. CWCT also continued the dialogue on mental health that we started last year.
A full review of the day is available here.
Technical News
CWCT have been busy publishing Technical Notes recently.
Firstly, CWCT published, TN118 Interfaces – Performance and TN119 Interfaces – Procurement. A webinar was held to introduce these notes (together with TN117 Breather membranes and vapour control layers) – a recording is available here.
Secondly, TN115 Fire performance of facades – Application to curtain walling was published. This completes CWCT’s series of Technical Notes on fire performance. Look out for a webinar to introduce this soon. In the meantime, you can watch the previous webinars on the topic here.
Sustainability
CWCT’s latest sustainability guidance, An Introduction to Sustainable Façade Refurbishment, was launched at the recent AGM. The guide provides a practical framework for sustainable façade refurbishment and is supported by a series of industry case studies, demonstrating how façade refurbishment has been approached in practice across different building types, systems and levels of intervention.
Our thanks to everyone who contributed their projects, knowledge and lessons learnt to support the development of the guide.

The guide is freely available to download for Members via the Cladding Forum and available to purchase for non-members via the website.
A webinar to introduce this new guide will be held on 29th October at 12:30 – Click here for details and to book your free place.
