Each year the CIBSE Patrons allocate part of their income through small one-off grants to fund activity which supports the building services industry. They support activity organised by the CIBSE Network - the Regions, Societies, Groups and others.
We are interested in supporting activity that aligns with our priorities to:
- Help young people and engineers at the start of their careers
- Showcase the building services industry as an attractive career choice
- Kickstart new or growing activity which needs some initial help
- Provide the chance to learn new skills or knowledge
- Share new ideas about buildings, engineering and sustainability
The funding could help pay for things such as a venue, learning materials, promotion or resources.
To apply for funding we will ask you to complete a short form to tell us briefly about the activity, the target audience, expected outcomes, the level of funding you are requesting, and what the funding will specifically be used for.
Please check that your activity meets one (or more) of our goals. Each application will be reviewed separately. Funding is not guaranteed, and we may offer less money than you ask for. If your application is successful, we may ask you to mention CIBSE Patrons at the event and send us a short update afterwards.
Please note we do not fund events that are mainly for making a profit.
