A Fellow will have reached a position of superior responsibility and accountability and will have made a significant contribution to digital engineering.
Your FSDE application will be reviewed by the SDE Membership Committee, you will need to:
- Submit a completed Industry Contribution statement demonstrating how you have had an active role in supporting digital engineering or the SDE. Download statement template.
- Upload your CV and CPD record.
- Be supported by a sponsor who,
- has known you for at least 2 years
- knows your background, recent work and can validate your application
- shall be a Fellow of CIBSE and or/ a Fellow of SDE OR registered CEng and Fellow of another UK engineering institution OR professionally registered within the construction industry eg CIOB, RICS.
How to join
There are four pathways to achieving FSDE:
- You are (CEng) MCIBSE/FCIBSE applying for FSDE, start your application. This link will only work if you are already logged in and your membership is up to date.
- You are MCIBSE/MSDE applying for FSDE, start your application. This link will only work if you are logged in and your membership is up to date.
- CEng registered with a UK engineering institution applying for FSDE, start your application by creating a CIBSE account.
