The Society of Facade Engineering is excited to announce the launch of its Midlands Hub. A hybrid virtual-remote group, the branch will have both in-person and virtual events throughout the year aimed at bringing together our industry and sparking connections.

Society of Facade Engineering Birmingham Hub Facade Walking tour
In May 2023, the SFE Birmingham Hub explored the city centre of Birmingham, looking at the good, the bad and ugly new buildings. The walk was followed by networking drinks for old faces and new friends.
The Society of Façade Engineering was formed in 2004 as a joint initiative of CIBSE, IStructE, and the RIBA. It is governed by a Council drawn from among its members and administered by CIBSE.
The Society acts as an axis for those involved in the façade industry to determine the credentials of members and as a surety for those seeking to employ them and to help make progress towards innovation and sustainable design. Membership is open to all individuals who have an involvement in façade engineering.
