There is no eligibility criteria to join. Affiliate membership is ideal for those who are new to the building services engineering sector, transitioning into the industry, or simply want to stay connected with the latest trends and innovations.

This membership grade provides the tools, knowledge, and connections you need to succeed. As part of your Affiliate Membership application, you can also add on membership to a CIBSE Society, focusing on key disciplines like digital engineering, façade engineering, lighting, and more. Societies offer exclusive networks, technical guidance, and career-enhancing resources. You can know more about CIBSE societies here.

Some Societies are free to join, while others require an additional subscription fee. Society fees, where applicable, are charged annually in addition to your CIBSE membership.
