On Thursday, 7 May 2026, CIBSE Patrons gathered at the historic House of Lords in London for the Institution’s annual Patrons Lunch, a flagship event in the CIBSE calendar bringing together leading voices from across the building services sector.

Held in one of the capital’s most distinguished venues, the lunch provided an opportunity for guests to connect, exchange ideas and reflect on the evolving challenges and opportunities facing the built environment industry. The event welcomed senior professionals, industry partners and key stakeholders for an afternoon focused on collaboration, engagement and strengthening professional relationships.

CIBSE Patrons continue to play an essential role in supporting the Institution and the wider profession. Through their ongoing commitment, expertise and advocacy, Patrons contribute significantly to CIBSE’s work in advancing knowledge, supporting skills development and driving progress across the built environment sector.

The event also offered a valuable platform for discussion and networking, enabling attendees to share perspectives and foster new connections in an exceptional setting rich in heritage and tradition.
The annual House of Lords Lunch remains an important occasion for recognising the collective contribution of the CIBSE Patron community and celebrating the partnerships that help shape the future of building services engineering.

CIBSE extends its thanks to all guests who attended and contributed to another successful event, and looks forward to welcoming Patrons and partners again at future gatherings.
