Book NowJoin us as we discuss the implications of the UK Net Zero Carbon Standard on the Energy Performance of buildings particularly in healthcare.
In this online session, members of the CIBSE Energy Performance Group will hear from Philip Tamuno, Head of Sustainability and Net Zero at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Julie Godefroy, Head of Net Zero at CIBSE.
The UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard (NZCBS) was developed through collaboration between various industry bodies, including RIBA, IStructE, CIBSE, and RICS. It covers critical areas like upfront carbon, operational carbon reduction, operational energy efficiency and performance for sustainable buildings, and low carbon architecture, the Standard ensures alignment with the UK Building Standards and UK carbon reduction targets. For more information and to download the Standard for free, visit the official UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard website at www.nzcbuildings.co.uk
This session, provided for the CIBSE Energy Performance Group, will focus on the implications within the Healthcare sector but will be valuable for all members as the principles of the session can be applied to other sectors. Julie will also provide an update on the progress of the UK NZCBS which will be relevant to all.
Our two distinguished invited speakers will each have about 25 minutes to present. This will be followed by a co-moderated panel Question and Answer (Q&A) session, with questions from the audience.
It will be chaired by Emeka Efe Osaji (Chair of CIBSE EPG) and co-moderated by Ebrahim Salehi (Technical Officer of CIBSE EPG).
We look forward to you joining us online!
