ENDA SEYAMA-HENEGHAN, Engineer | Sustainable Buildings 
ARUP and CIBSE YEN ANZ Chair

Enda is the CIBSE Young Engineers Network (YEN) ANZ Chair. Being part of YEN Committees for over 4 years, she works together with teams across Australia and New Zealand to support early career professionals and University students discover opportunities within building services and build their networks. Enda also works as a Senior Sustainability Consultant at Arup, and is passionate about integrating sustainable, circular strategies into building design – leveraging her experience across complex projects to deliver solutions that optimise performance and minimise environmental impact.

 


TOM DONALD, Director, Eckersley O'Callaghan

Tom leads the Sydney studio of Eckersley O’Callaghan (EOC), having previously worked as part of their London facades team. With a background in architecture and environmental design, Tom embodies the integrated design and environmental performance central to EOC's engineering philosophy. Tom is also currently NSW Chair for the Society of Facade Engineering with the aim to foster better understanding, education and recognition of facade engineers.

 


JASON YANG, Senior Sustainability Engineer, Arup

Jason Yang is a Senior Sustainable Building Engineer with 15 years of experience specialising in building sustainability consultancy and analysis. He has extensive expertise in energy consumption analysis, façade optimization, and building environmental assessment, and has led numerous high-profile projects to enhance operational performance and sustainability.

 


 

DR JANE LAI, Associate Director, ESG, erbas™

Jane is a chartered engineer with experience in sustainable design, ESG advisory, environmental reporting, building certifications, and health and well-being design. She is an Honorary Senior Fellow and a regular guest lecturer at the University of Melbourne, and serves on the Industry Advisory Group for the Department of Infrastructure Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology. Jane connects industry and academia, and enjoys engaging with the future leaders of engineering.

 


BLAKE PHELPS, Managing Director – Australia & NZ, Condair

Blake Phelps is Managing Director of Condair Australia & New Zealand, with a background spanning commercial and industrial humidification, Psychrometrics, and building systems for 10+ years. He has spent his career working across technically demanding environments including data centres, healthcare, and industrial applications, developing a strong appreciation for engineering rigour and practical problem-solving.
Blake brings both technical depth and real-world commercial experience to the panel, and a genuine interest in supporting the next generation of engineers across ANZ.

 


LUCY MARSLAND, Senior Environmental Designer, Atelierten

Lucy is a Senior Environmental Designer leading Atelier Ten's Materials and Carbon Practice on projects across Australia. Lucy’s experience crosses major transport infrastructure, education and residential typologies, advocating for low carbon materials, resilience planning and assuring delivery through Green Star certification.
Trained as a structural engineer at the University of Melbourne, Lucy is a passionate advocate for thoughtful and resilient buildings that empower their communities. Their industry contributions include work with the Melbourne School of Design, MECLA and the DBI research network.


DR ARDESHIR SANIEE, Research Fellow at Auckland University of Technology and CIBSE New Zealand Vice Chair

Ardeshir holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and has recently contributed to the design of large-scale health infrastructure systems across Aotearoa. He is actively engaged in research and knowledge-sharing within the building performance sector, including delivering CIBSE training for mechanical services. Ardeshir currently serves as Vice Chair of the CIBSE New Zealand Chapter and is also Research Fellow at Auckland University of Technology.


MELANIE FARMER, Learning and Development Consultant, Lucid Consulting

Melanie brings more than 20 years’ experience across innovation, learning, leadership and organisational development. Her work has spanned Australia, the EU, UAE, UK and Singapore, supporting major partnerships, capability programs, restructures and human-centred design initiatives. Known for creativity, empathy and practical optimism, Melanie is passionate about helping people and organisations grow with purpose, measure their impact, and turn bold ideas into meaningful progress.


TOM WISE, Director | Advisory & Engineering, H2Wise

Tom Wise is Director of H2WISE, specialising in hydraulic services, water hygiene, and healthcare infrastructure. With over 20 years of industry experience, he is chartered and has led the design, commissioning, and performance review of major healthcare and critical infrastructure projects across Australia. Tom contributes to industry research, standards development, and technical advisory groups focused on improving building water system performance, safety, and public health through practical, evidence-based solutions.


MATT HILL, Senior Associate - Sustainability, Compass-Intelle Engineering Group

Matthew is a Senior Associate of Compass-Intelle with experience as a Mechanical and Sustainability Engineer, Project Director and Project Manager. During his career, Matthew has worked within consulting and contractor environments with experience across the entire project life cycle from project inception to site completion. He is a Green Star Accredited Professional (GSAP) with extensive experience in various sustainability rating tools. Matthew’s passion for buildings and ESG extends beyond the workplace as the immediate past Chair of the CIBSE Victorian chapter and former AIRAH Victorian committee member.
