Before AUT final-year undergraduate engineering specialists embark on their next journey, the outcomes of their research projects across a wide range of engineering disciplines are placed on display at the Student Project Exhibition for the industry and university guests to view and engage with their authors.

This year, over 100 research projects were showcased across Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Maritime Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Engineering, Network & Communications Engineering, Computer & Mobile Systems Engineering.

For the second year in a row, CIBSE Auckland has sponsored an award for outstanding student studying Building Services at AUT.

Charles Roos along with Raitis Kjestrup of the Auckland CIBSE Committee assisted in judging the final year Industrial Projects and awarded prizes to the best team project.

Kate Molony, Zyad Alotaiby, Simran Singh and Mariam Taha took out the Best in Building Services Design as well as Best Architecture project for their Waihanga Apartments poster.
