Dolphins crash CIBSE WA end of year celebrations
Back to ANZ Region
Almost 100 local building services professionals, including CIBSE members and their guests, attended the CIBSE WA annual luncheon at the gorgeous Matilda Bay Restaurant in Perth with some surprise guests in the adjacent Swan river - a pod of dolphins decided they weren't to miss out on the fun!
WA Chapter Chair, Peter Walley, hosted and MC’d the event. CIBSE ANZ Chair, Paul Angus, also attended the luncheon as a guest of the Chapter.
Guests were both entertained and educated by event speaker, Ryan Keys, from the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority who gave a talk titled Behind the Construction Fence. Ryan detailed recent works in Perth – Elizabeth Quay and Northbridge Link (which included Yagan Square and the recent Scarborough foreshore redevelopment.)
The event was sponsored by Building IQ/Building Sense, Daikin, Fredon, IBMS, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Systemaire whose generous support funds the running of CIBSE technical seminars throughout the year.
