health sector / mechanical engineering. For both commercial and domestic buildings.

By the end of the presentation the trainee should be able to:

Understand the challenges of gravity fed drainage

Identify where and when they would use a macerator or lifting station

Some critical installation requirements and considerations

Understand some of the key differences between the lifting station technologies

Be able to use pump curves to help specify the correct pump.
