The presentation has been developed to raise the awareness of the development of A2S1D0 membranes for outer wall systems, replacing class B membranes in ADB and C giving further safety from fire, smoke and hot droplets behind cladding. The presentation gives the importance of independent testing with examples of tests that needs to be carried out. This also shows the importance of having W1 waterproofness with breathability or removing moisture from the building wall system. The presentation also discusses all various EN and BS numbers that a membrane should adhere to.
