Minimum controllable power in variable flow systems

The IMI minimum controllable power CPD covers calculations and data for investigating minimum controllable power in variable volume HVAC systems.
The following subjects will be covered to gain an understanding of the time spent in min. power situations and how these can have an effect on system control and efficiency:
• Seasonal load variation: How the power demand will vary depending on external conditions. How long we are likely to spend in a reduced power demand for a building.
• System characteristic: How do differing temperature regimes effect the relationship between flow and power in a HVAC system
• Minimum controllable flow: How can the mechanical design of a system effect the minimum controllable flow and how will this affect the minimum controllable power
• A brief overview on control stability when operating below the min. power of a system
