This CPD will cover the following topics:

The CPD present the full process of illuminaton design with respect to both, BIM and good practices. First set of cases will explain the principle of façade modelling in line with luminaire application. We will then jump to Case Study to cover classic façade modelling and enabling its 3d model to BIM authoring tools workflow. Inclusive design will be mentioned as lighting scenarios to the hotel entrance are overviewed. Attendees will learn about life-cycle of the luminaire in respect to Asset Information Model. Some portion of information will be summarised with a quiz.

Work-light balance – innovative approach for optimal circadian rhythm adaptation

The purpose of the CPD is to present the best(to our best knowledge) approach to use the latest lighting technology to adapt to the circadian rhythm. Considering we spend 90% of time indoor we wish to pay attention to importance of artificial light in our everyday functioning. The idea is to briefly introduce the importance of (sun)light in our life, the way it developed and the benefits that we can obtain from the latest technology achievements combined with peripheral sensors(lighting management systems). This will be enforced with some case studies directed at human well-being combined with energy-saving approach.
