Review of How Sensory Design can influence Wellbeing & Productivity

Current design standards governing the internal environment codify approaches to the interaction between the physical environment and our senses; these standards overlook many aspects of the senses that they cover. This paper reviews these aspects and their contribution to wellbeing and productivity. The types of study looked at include improving the general atmosphere of a space, changing the atmosphere to suit the needs of the organisation and specific design interventions
that change the way people, concentrate, behave and act.
